Chummy Fleming's Anarchy flag (State Library of Victoria)

(From the State Library of Victoria’s catalogue record:) Red heavy cotton flag with white applique letters on both sides forming the word “Anarchy”, carried by J. W.(Chummy) Fleming in the Melbourne May Day processions.

Undated but possibly around 1920. Fleming’s initial Anarchy flag was seized and burned by off-duty soldiers in 1915, so this flag must be a replacement, presumably made shortly after the first was destroyed.
